About Us

Dr Nancy started learning the art of cosmetic canine ear trims 30 years ago. This was a procedure that  she was never going to  offer , so she thought. When a client presented a pitbull puppy to have the ears corrected from an owner surgery, she knew she could do a better job and with general anesthesia. The technique that the owner used was such that this veterinarian realized the owners were going to have this done with or without our approval. At that time clamps were sold to give the pup in each breed an ear trim.If this was a procedure that some owners desired then Dr. Nancy's goal was to make them attractive and using good anesthesia. Post operative pain control is possible today which has made the procedure much easier for the pet.
Since no puppy is the same(sizes and head shapes vary) within each breed that is brought for cosmetic ear surgery, Dr. Nancy has developed a way to use her artistry to customize the trim to each puppy.
She has worked with the pet owners for 30 years. Seventeen years later she still trims the show puppies for a Boxer breeder in Ohio.
All breeds that mention this procedure in the breed standard are taken as clients.
